KEEPSAKES EXHIBITION

Pru Thimbleby has been working with women's groups in Cardiff and Barry to make baskets in response to basketry from St Fagan's archives. Many items from the archives will be exhibited alongside the groups work. Free entry to the Museum but Car Park is £3 per day.

ETHNOGRAPHY BASKETRY CONFERENCE

This is a one day conference discussing the conservation, construction, and collection care issues of basketry. Speakers from national and international museums and institutions. This year Origin will re-locate from Somerset House to the newly refurbished Old Spitafields Market. It will take place as a unified event over one week, presenting more choice for visitors and increased opportunities for makers.
